INSTALLING EPDM ROOFING

All upstands and roof edges must be fully bonded at all times where STRUCTASEAL® EPDM is applied. Regardless of the substrate or height of the roof, the edges and upstands must always be adhered with STRUCTASEAL® contact adhesive. The sprayable variant Spraybond  provides optimum ease of installation.

Upstand and edge fixation:

Place a marking line on the roof surface at least 150 mm from the roof surface.
Spray the roof edge up to the marking on both the roof substrate (insulation and/or timber) and the underside of the EPDM.  
When the adhesive is touch-dry, fold the membrane from the centre of the edges tightly and smoothly.
compress the EPDM with a silicone pressure roller
From the centre of the roof edge, fold the EPDM with a flat hand over the roof edge.

Then finish the entire side and roll well with a silicone pressure roller.
