EPDM EXTERNAL CORNER

STRUCTASEAL®

When installing STRUCTASEAL® EPDM roofing, the inner corners are folded and fixed. This is possible because sufficient EPDM membrane is available at this angle. For external corners this is different and it is recommended to work with prefabricated EPDM corners. These are available in two variants:

• EPDM External Corner 90º

• EPDM External Corner 45º

The external corner 45º external corner is used to seal skylights etc. The STRUCTASEAL® prefabricated EPDM external corners are applied in combination with Contact Adhesive and the MS Polymer. The installation is similar to that of the Rainwater outlet or the flange. First position the external corner, cut it to the correct size and round all four corners. Position it again, mark the circumference on the surface and start applying the Contact Adhesive to both surfaces. Once touch dry compress together and seal with MS Polymer
