Traditional roofing generally has a roll width of 1 metre, as a result there can be many seam connections between the rolls that have to be made during the installation. Often this is with naked flame with all the associated risks of fire hazards that this entails.
With STRUCTASEAL® EPDM roofing this is different. EPDM roofing waterproofs the roof with a prefabricated membrane which which can be manufactured to any size. Any seams are vulcanised in the factory under controlled conditions.
A single EPDM membrane can be installed without the use of naked flame making for a secure, faster and safer installation.
STRUCTASEAL® EPDM membranes are installed with STRUCTASEAL® adhesives. A gas burner or a hot air air gun are therefore not required. This means that the installer can often apply the materials within his current insurance cover. There is no need to take out extra expensive fire insurance.
The EPDM membranes are offered in 3 standard sizes, and there is the possibility to obtain larger sizes to order. Please contact your Builders Merchant for more details.
