BONDING ADHESIVE PU BASED
The BONDING ADHESIVE PU BASED is a solvent based PU adhesive for bonding STRUCTASEAL® EPDM roofing. The adhesive is applied on flat horizontal surfaces (both timber and suitable insulation). To prevent air bubbles from being enclosed when the roof surface is covered with the EPDM, the solvents in the PU adhesive must always be allowed to evaporate. For this reason after applying the adhesive, never immediately cover the roof surface with the EPDM.
The STRUCTASEAL® BONDING ADHESIVE PU BASED can only be used in the central zone of the flat roof, or gutter construction. There are no restrictions on the height of the roof surface or gutter. The chosen insulation layer must be suitable, normal timber surfaces are ideal. The Bonding Adhesive adhesive products should not be used for sealing around upstands and edge zones.

INSTALLATION INSTRUCTIONS
BONDING ADHESIVE PU BASED has been specially developed for the adhesion of STRUCTASEAL® EPDM roofing on horizontal surfaces of e.g. timber, concrete, tissuefaced insulation boards, etc. The surface must be flat, clean, dry and grease-free.
The adhesive is applied to the substrate, allow to flash off for approx. 5 to max. 20 minutes (depending on temperature and weather conditions). Then apply the EPDM roofing carefully and without creases and tension to the surface. The installation temperature must be > +5 °C.
The adhesive is not suitable for bonding accessories to the EPDM roofing, such as rainwater drains and/or prefabricated corners.

The tins should be stored in dry and
cool conditions (> +5 °C), in a well ventilated space
Keep away from all possible sources of ignition
No smoking in the vicinity of the tins.
